Hurt Reunion in Charleston This Year

This year's Hurt Reunion will be on Sunday, August 31st, in Charleston, Illinois. Charlotte and Tom Royal will be hosting the get together at their home, just a stones throw from the Eastern Illinois University campus. Please, mark your calendar and plan to attend.

The reunion will be from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a noon Pot-Luck meal. Char has arranged indoor dining facilities for those that prefer not to eat in the shaded back yard. Guests are invited to bring folding chairs for outside lounging.

The two maps on this page provide directions to their home. The map on the left orients their subdivision relative to routes 16 and 130. The map on the right shows their home within the Heritage Woods subdivision.

Here are simple directions: Turn west off highway 130 into Heritage Woods, at the large white stone gateway about half a mile south of the intersection of highways 130 and 16. Take the first right onto Woodlawn Drive, then at the first stop sign, turn left onto Salem Road. Theirs is the 3rd house on the right. Street parking is permitted.
