Don Hurt's Uncle Jess and Aunt Ethyl

Don Hurt forwarded these pictures with the following comments: This is of Uncle Jess and Aunt Ethyl with Russell and Sybil. Sybil appears to be a few months old. She was born November 17, 1914 so the picture must have been taken in 1915. Uncle Jess was born December 6, 1885, so he would have been 29 years old plus a few months when the picture was taken.

Russell was born July 19, 1912, so he is about 3 years old in the picture. Aunt Ethel was born December 13, 1891 so she would have been 23 years old plus a few months. Dean wasn't born until January 9, 1921.

The other picture shows Uncle Jess with his tractor. I don't know when it was taken, but I would guess late 1940's. I got the pictures from Dean Hurt's step-son, Don Ashurst who lives near Peoria, IL
