Jon and Pat Wallace's New Home

OK, this may not qualify as Hurt News, but as some of you already know Jon and Pat have been building their 'dream-house' over the last 7-months in Glen Ellyn. They demolished their home of 31 years and built a state of the art post-modern, euro-style two story (with full basement) where once stood their sturdy split-level from the 60's era.

If you're interested in following the home building saga (from design through move-in) here's a link to the build-journal that Jon maintained. It includes dozens of photos that start with the old house, the demolition, and then proceed through all the phases necessary to permitting for occupancy.
