Submitted Feb 15th, 2005

Phil Allen Hurt died last week of a massive heart attack. He was 52 years old, physically active, and had no idea he was ill. Given the choice to linger in pain and misery, or go out quickly and at the top of my game, I would choose the latter. Following is the Obituary from a local newspaper. It is sparce. If you'd like to read some of my memories of my cousin Phil Allen they are Linked Here .
