Auction Day Facts and Photos Archive
There were over 250 registered bidders at the auction. There were over 3000 separate item lots sold between 10:00AM and 6PM. There were 3 auctioneers, with two continuous auctions running all day.
Below are some pictures of auction day. Each is titled and has a short accompanying text description. These pictures don't begin to show all the stuff that was sold ... a truly amazing house-cleaning event! I plan to leave this page up as an archive to document this special auction event.

Bidders may preview items October 6th from 2-6PM, and October 7th after 8:30AM.
There are on site restrooms, food vendors, and ample parking. There are no admission fees.
This is a non-reserve auction targeted towards dealers and knowledgeable collectors. Phil Hurt has been an active collector for over 30 years and is holding this one time sale to reduce top-line inventory.
